CDP Student Residential Training Course: Researching the Historic Environment


CDP STUDENT RESIDENTIAL TRAINING COURSE: RESEARCHING THE HISTORIC ENVIRONMENT

 Bellingham, Northumberland and surrounding area

2.5 days: Monday 12th June (from 4pm) to Wednesday 14th June (approx. 1:30pm)

 

This field-based course aims to enable postgraduate researchers to articulate the approaches and methods which a national heritage agency uses to research the historic environment and assess the heritage management context in which we work; in order to apply this to their current and future research. We will do this through examining buy isotretinoin canada practical examples of heritage assets out in the field, how they are researched, and to what purpose.

The course is available to all CDP students however it is primarily aimed at students who will be working within the historic environment (e.g. with Historic England and Historic Environment Scotland), and these students will take priority for places.

The course will be led by expert staff from Historic England’s Historic Places Investigation Team (North).
