CDP workshop: Copyright, Intellectual Property, Open Access
Monday 4th February 2019
The British Library (St Pancras, London)
This one day session is run by the British Library and Tate and will be delivered by Bernard Horrocks (Intellectual Property Manager, Tate), Matthew Lambert (Licensing & Copyright Assurance Manager, BL) and Dimity Flanagan (Scholarly Communications Lead, BL).
It is intended to ‘de-mystify’ the topics of copyright/IP and Open Access and introduce you to some of the key practical considerations to bear in mind over the course of your PhD research. It will also raise awareness of the relevance and importance of these areas to the work of organisations across the CDP consortium and the wider cultural and heritage sector.
Throughout the day, students will have opportunities to raise questions and get practical tips and advice. A final session offers the chance to discuss any further queries or concerns you may have relating to your CDP research projects and activities.
Open to CDP students in their 1st or 2nd year.
Bookings Open on Eventbrite on Tuesday 11th December.
Book by Thursday 3rd January 2019.
