Digital Humanities are transforming how museums, archives, libraries & heritage organisations enable others to use and research their collections and resources. At the same time as they are changing the way people work in these organisations manage their collections, properties and landscapes, engage different audiences and conduct research.
These two days will offer an introduction from colleagues leading our organisations use in Digital Humanities approaches in their work, including prospects and challenges these approaches offer for collections and heritage. Across both days there will be opportunities for discussion, presentations from other students and hands on introductions using a variety of web-based tools.
Locations – Imperial War Museum & The National Archives.
Bookings via Eventbrite open on 4th January 2018.
