10.00 Students Arrive at Dana Research Centre and Library
10.15 Introduction by JD Hill, Consortium Chair
10.30 Introduction to the Information Age gallery
11.00 In the Information Age gallery. Split into two groups for led discussion on the use of objects, interpretation, and design.
12.00 Lunch
13.30 Workshop 1 – students will be introduced to label writing and find 10 ‘objects’ that represent their thesis.
16.00 Finish
DAY 2 Friday 27 November

10.30 Making Exhibitions
11.00 Panel discussion on Planning exhibitions – looking at logistics, curatorship, marketing and research with curators from the V&A, Science Museum and British Museum
12.30 Lunch
13.30 Workshop 2- This continues the work of the previous day. Applying what the students have learnt they will plan out their own exhibition based on their thesis topic.
16.30 Finish
