Tuesday 22nd & Wednesday 23rd May 2018 – Making Exhibitions and Galleries,
The National Museum of Scotland & The National Galleries of Scotland
CDP AHRC funded PhD students in the 2nd and 3rd Year
The two day training event on ‘Making Galleries and Exhibitions’ aims to provide an introduction to how Museums, Galleries and other organisations create displays with objects, photographs and art works. We look at how we can effectively communicate our ideas and research to different audiences through museum, galleries and exhibitions. It is an opportunity to hear from staff working across different Museums, Galleries and Heritage Organisations about their work in this area.
This CDP training involves preparatory work (practical exercise) that will be sent out to you once you have booked to attend.
We encourage you to attend both days to get the most from the training as the practical exercise is looked at over both days.
The training is open to 2nd & 3rd Year students who have priority, if there are spaces remaining 1st year students will also be invited to book.
Bookings open (via eventbrite email invite only) on Friday 23rd March and close on Tuesday April 10th
